Step 1: Open Gmail
The first step is to open Gmail in your web browser. If you don’t have a Gmail account yet, you can create one for free by clicking on the “Create account” option.

Step 8: Verify Ownership
After entering your details, click on the “Next Step” button. Gmail will send a verification code to the newly added email address. Retrieve the code from your email and enter it in the verification pop-up window to confirm ownership.
Step 9: Set Gmail as Your Default Account
Once you’ve added and verified your email address, go back to the “Settings” page. In the “Send mail as” section, locate the email address you just added and click on the “Make Default” option next to it. Gmail will set your default email address.
