Method:

3. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour in the milk mixture. Stir until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
4. Add the raisins and currants and knead for another 5 minutes.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with cling film. Leave to rise in a warm place for around an hour.
6. Knock back the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place on a lined baking tray.
7. Cover with cling film and leave to rise for another 20-30 minutes.
8. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6.
9. Mix the plain flour with enough water to make a paste. Spoon into a piping bag and pipe a cross onto each bun.
10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and piping hot.
2. Easter Egg French Toast
