However, just like any library, sometimes we need to declutter and remove books that we no longer need or want. Here are step-by-step instructions to help you delete books from your Kindle device.
Step 1: Turn on your Kindle
First and foremost, ensure that your Kindle is turned on and open to the home screen. If your device is in sleep mode, simply wake it up by pressing the power button located at the bottom of the device.
Step 2: Find the book you want to delete

Once you have confirmed the deletion, your Kindle will return to the home screen, and you should notice that the book you selected is no longer present. You have successfully deleted a book from your Kindle device.

While the book has been removed from your Kindle device, it still remains in your Amazon account’s cloud storage. If you wish to permanently remove it from your account, you can do so by following these additional steps:
a) Open your preferred web browser on a computer or mobile device.
b) Go to the Amazon website and log in to your account.
c) Hover over the “Account & Lists” tab and select “Your Content and Devices” from the drop-down menu.
d) On the next page, click on the “Content” tab.
e) Locate the book you want to remove from cloud storage and click on the checkbox next to it.
f) Click on the “Delete” button located at the top of the list.
g) A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking if you are sure you want to delete the book. Click on the “Yes” button to permanently remove it from your account.
