What do you need?
Before we dive in, make sure you have the following:
- An Xbox 360 console
- An Xbox Live Gold subscription (for online sharing)
- A USB flash drive or external hard drive (optional, for storing your recordings)
Step 1: Enable Game DVR
The first step is to enable Game DVR, which is a built-in feature on Xbox 360. Game DVR allows you to record gameplay, capture screenshots, and share your content with others. Here’s how to enable it:

Step 4: Manage and Share Recordings

- Go to the Home screen and select “Game DVR”
- Under “Game DVR”, you’ll find your recorded videos
- Select a video and choose from options such as trimming, renaming, or deleting
- If you want to share your recordings with others, select “Upload” and follow the prompts to share on Xbox Live or other social platforms
