The sailors on the ship were crying out for help, and Anthony immediately ran down to the shore to see what he could do.

As he approached the ship, he raised his hand and made the sign of the cross, and miraculously, the ship stopped sinking and was able to reach the shore safely. The sailors were amazed at what they had witnessed and immediately recognized Anthony’s holiness.
