Lightyear (film): A New Adventure in the Toy Story Universe

The Toy Story franchise has been a beloved favorite of families and animation fans for over 20 years. The film is directed by Angus MacLane, a veteran Pixar animator and co-director of Finding Dory. Chris Evans, known for his portrayal of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will voice the character of Lightyear.

In a tweet shared by Evans, he stated that he was “beyond grateful” for the opportunity to voice the iconic space ranger. It’s clear that Lightyear is a passion project for all involved, and one that has the potential to be a new classic.
