Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash, also known as “Big Daddy Cool” or “Big Sexy,” is a retired American professional wrestler and actor. Standing at 7’0″ tall, he was one of the most recognizable and dominant figures in the wrestling industry during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Nash made his debut in the wrestling world in 1990, after being trained by Brad Rheingans and the legendary wrestler, Eddie Sharkey. In his early career, he competed under various gimmicks, including “Oz” and “Master Blaster Steel,” but it wasn’t until his arrival in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991 that he found success.

As a member of the New World Order (nWo) stable, Nash rose to prominence and became one of the biggest stars in wrestling history. Alongside Scott Hall, the two formed the “Outsiders” and sparked the infamous “Monday Night Wars” against rival promotion, World Wrestling Federation (WWF).

The nWo dominated WCW programming throughout the mid-1990s, and Nash was at the forefront of the group’s success. He held the WCW World Heavyweight Championship five times, solidifying his status as a main event player.

Nash’s tenure in WCW came to an end in early 2000, after a falling out which led to his departure from the company that he helped put on the map. He then returned to the WWF under his real name, Kevin Nash, where he became a member of the hugely popular faction, The McMahon-Helmsley Faction.

Nash was sidelined for a few years due to injuries, but he made his return to the ring in 2002. Despite being in his mid-40s, he was still able to compete at a high level and was involved in storyline angles with top stars such as Triple H and Chris Jericho.

After his wrestling retirement in 2011, Nash appeared in numerous films and television shows including “Magic Mike” and “The Punisher.” In 2014, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside fellow nWo members Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan.
