Kevin Bacon is an American actor who has been in the film industry for more than four decades. Over these years, he has won numerous awards, including the Satellite Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in “Taking Chance” in 2009.

Bacon was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 8, 1958. His father was a civil engineer, while his mother was a teacher of Early Childhood Education at Towson University. His parents moved to Philadelphia when Bacon was eight years old, and he attended the Julia R. Masterman School, which was a Magnet school of the Philadelphia School District.
