Autofill is a convenient feature provided by Apple on iPhones that automatically fills in information such as usernames, passwords, and addresses when filling out forms and logging into websites. However, sometimes you may want to modify the autofill settings on your iPhone to either update the information or disable the autofill feature altogether. In this article, we will guide you through the process of modifying autofill settings on an iPhone.
Step 1: Accessing Settings
To begin, unlock your iPhone and navigate to the home screen. Look for the “Settings” app, which is represented by a gray gear icon. Tap on it to open the settings menu.

If you wish to start fresh or remove all autofill data stored on your iPhone, scroll to the bottom of the Autofill page and tap on “Clear All.” A pop-up message will appear, asking you to confirm the action. Keep in mind that this will remove all saved passwords and credit cards.
Step 9: Return to Safari Settings and Exit
Once you have made the desired modifications to the autofill settings, tap on the back button at the top left corner of the screen to return to the Safari settings page. From there, you can either navigate to other settings or exit the settings app altogether.
