Stepping onto the plane at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport, a sense of excitement and anticipation fills the air. Strolling through the colorful Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market, I sampled the freshest local produce and chatted with friendly locals, immersing myself in the Seychellois way of life.

As I reflect on my journey, I am humbled by the seamless transition from Rome, a city steeped in history and grandeur, to the Seychelles, a tropical oasis overflowing with natural wonders. The contrast between ancient ruins and pristine beaches is a reminder of the diversity our world has to offer, and the ability to experience these disparate worlds within one trip is truly a blessing.
