Before you uninstall Safari
Before you proceed with the uninstallation process, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Removing Safari from your Mac may impact certain functionalities in other applications that rely on Safari’s components. Make sure you have an alternative browser installed before proceeding with the uninstallation.
- If you rely on Safari for specific tasks, it’s recommended to try an alternate browser first to ensure it meets your requirements.
- Uninstalling Safari will remove all associated browsing data, including bookmarks, history, and saved passwords. Make sure to back up any important data before proceeding.
