Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account
The first step in unfollowing a Facebook page is to log in to your account. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the Facebook website. Enter your username and password, and click on the “Log In” button.
Step 2: Visit the Facebook page you want to stop following
Once you are logged in, use the search bar at the top of the Facebook page to search for the specific page you want to unfollow. Click on the page’s name to visit it.
Step 3: Click on the “Following” button
On the Facebook page, locate the “Following” button. This button is typically located below the cover photo and displays whether you are currently following the page.
Click on the “Following” button to reveal a dropdown menu with various options.
Step 4: Choose the “Unfollow” option
In the dropdown menu, select the “Unfollow” option. This action will stop posts from this page from appearing in your News Feed, but you will still remain connected as a follower of the page.
Step 5: Confirm your decision
After selecting “Unfollow,” a confirmation box will appear asking if you want to unfollow the page. Review your decision and click on the “Unfollow” button to confirm.
That’s it! You have successfully stopped following a Facebook page. You will no longer see updates from this page in your News Feed.
- Note: Unfollowing a page does not remove your like or unlike the page.
- Pro Tip: If you want to completely disconnect from a Facebook page, you can choose the “Unlike” option instead, which will remove your connection as a follower.
Now you can curate your Facebook experience to align with your current interests. Unfollowing pages that no longer resonate with you will ensure that your News Feed remains relevant and engaging.
Remember, you can always re-follow a page if your preferences change in the future. Enjoy a tailored Facebook experience by keeping your page follows up to date!
