What you’ll need:
- Huawei Nova Young
- SIM card tray opener tool or a paperclip
- Your SIM card
Step 1: Locate the SIM card tray
The SIM card tray on the Huawei Nova Young is located on the right-hand side of the device. Look for a small slot with an ejector pinhole next to it.
Step 2: Insert the SIM card tray opener tool
If you have a SIM card tray opener tool, insert it into the pinhole until the tray pops out slightly. If you don’t have a tool, you can straighten a small paperclip and use that instead.
Step 3: Remove the SIM card tray
Gently pull out the SIM card tray from the device using the tool or paperclip.
Step 4: Prepare the SIM card
Take your SIM card and ensure it is free from any dust or debris. If your SIM card has a larger form factor (micro or nano), it may already fit in the tray. If not, you may need to use the appropriate SIM card adapter.
Step 5: Place the SIM card in the tray
Align the notched corner of the SIM card with the corresponding corner on the SIM card tray. Carefully place the SIM card on the tray.
Step 6: Reinsert the SIM card tray
Gently push the SIM card tray back into the Huawei Nova Young until it is fully inserted. Ensure it is flush with the side of the device.
Step 7: Power on your device
Now that your SIM card is inserted, you can power on your Huawei Nova Young and wait for it to establish a connection with your network provider.
That’s it! You have successfully inserted a SIM card into your Huawei Nova Young. If you ever need to switch SIM cards or remove it for any reason, simply follow these steps in reverse order. Happy communicating!
