Safari is one of the most popular web browsers in the world, and like most browsers, it uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small files that store information about your online activity, making it easier for websites to remember your preferences and provide a personalized experience. By default, Safari blocks third-party cookies, but you can easily enable them. Read on to learn how to enable cookies on Safari:

Step 1: Launch Safari

To begin, open the Safari browser on your device. Look for the compass-like icon with blue, red, and white colors. Click on it to open the browser.

Step 2: Access Safari Preferences

Once Safari is open, navigate to the top-left corner of your screen and click on “Safari” in the menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear. Scroll down and click on “Preferences”.

Step 3: Go to the Privacy Tab

A new window will pop up with several tabs. You want to locate and click on the tab labeled “Privacy”.

Step 4: Adjust Cookie Settings

Under the Privacy tab, you will find the option to manage your cookie settings. By default, Safari blocks third-party cookies. To enable these cookies, uncheck the box next to “Prevent cross-site tracking”.

If you scroll further down, you will also see the option to block all cookies. Toggle this option off if you want to allow all cookies, including first-party cookies.

Step 5: Close Preferences

Once you have adjusted your cookie settings, click on the red circle in the top-left corner of the Preferences window to close it. Your changes will be automatically saved.

Step 6: Restart Safari

For the changes to take effect, it is recommended to restart your Safari browser. Click on “Safari” in the menu bar and select “Quit Safari”. After a few seconds, launch Safari again.
