Materials You’ll Need:
- Blank paper
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Fine-tip black marker or pen
- Colored pencils or markers (optional)
Step 1: Start with Basic Shapes
Begin by lightly sketching a circle for Smurfette’s head. Then, add a smaller oval shape underneath for her body. These basic shapes will serve as your guide throughout the drawing process.
Step 2: Outline Smurfette’s Face
Using the circle as a reference, outline Smurfette’s face. Add two large ovals for her eyes, leaving some space between them. Inside each eye, draw a smaller circle for the irises. Sketch a small curve for her smiling mouth in between the eyes.
Step 3: Add Details to the Face
Give Smurfette her characteristic features by adding eyelashes, eyebrows, and a button-shaped nose. Draw a tiny curved line above each eye for the eyebrows. Use short, curved lines to create the lashes, making them longer on the outer edges of each eye. Complete the face by adding a small, upside-down “U” shape for her button nose.
Step 4: Draw Smurfette’s Hair and Hat
Draw Smurfette’s wavy hair using a series of curved lines that extend from the side of her face. Add a triangular shape on top to represent her hat. Connect the hat to her head with short, curved lines.
Step 5: Sketch Smurfette’s Body
Complete Smurfette’s body by drawing two curved lines on each side of the oval shape. These lines will serve as her arms. Connect them to the body using two short lines. Add a small curve at the bottom for her dress.
Step 6: Add Hands and Feet
Give Smurfette hands by drawing small ovals at the ends of her arms. Next, draw two half-circles at the bottom of her body for her feet.
Step 7: Outline the Final Details
Now is the time to refine your drawing. Carefully outline all the main lines while erasing any unnecessary guidelines. Once you are satisfied with the outline, trace over it with a fine-tip black marker or pen to make it more prominent.
Step 8: Color Your Drawing (Optional)
If you have colored pencils or markers, feel free to bring Smurfette to life by adding color. Use shades of blue for her skin and light yellow for her hair. Don’t forget to color her hat white!
