Step 1: Sign in to your Gmail account
In order to delete your Gmail email address, you need to sign in to your Gmail account first. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to www.gmail.com. Enter your email address and password to log in.

- You may be asked to enter your password again.
Step 7: Follow the instructions to delete your Gmail email address
Once you click on “Delete a service” next to Gmail, Google will provide you with instructions and warnings regarding the deletion process. Read and follow the instructions carefully to proceed with deleting your Gmail email address.
Step 8: Confirm the deletion
After following the instructions, Gmail will ask you to confirm your decision to delete your email address. Step 9: Account recovery and data retrieval
