What You’ll Need:
Before we begin, make sure you have the following:
- A PlayStation console (PS4 or PS5)
- A pair of AirPods
- The PlayStation DualShock 4 or DualSense controller
- A USB-C or micro-USB cable (depending on your PlayStation version)
Step 1: Update Your PlayStation System
Make sure your PlayStation console is running the latest system software. To update your system, follow these steps:
- Connect your PlayStation controller to the console using the USB-C or micro-USB cable.
- Go to the “Settings” menu on your PlayStation home screen.
- Select “System Software Update” and choose “Update Now”.

Step 2: Enable Bluetooth on Your PlayStation

- Go to the “Settings” menu on your PlayStation home screen.
- Select “Sound” and then choose “Audio Output Settings”.
- Select “Output to Headphones” and choose “All Audio”.
