Gabby Giffords

Gabby Giffords is an American politician and gun control advocate who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Arizona’s 8th congressional district from 2007 until her resignation in 2012. She is also a survivor of the tragic shooting that occurred on January 8th, 2011, in which six people were killed and 13 others were injured, including Giffords who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.
