Athene, the goddess of wisdom and warfare, plays a crucial role in Odysseus’ journey. She disguises herself as various individuals and provides guidance and protection to Odysseus and his crew. Athene’s interventions are instrumental in ensuring Odysseus remains steadfast on his quest.
The Trials of Poseidon
Poseidon, god of the sea and Poseidon, continually tests Odysseus’ resilience and determination. Through storms, shipwrecks, and other challenges, Poseidon seeks to prevent Odysseus from returning home and exact revenge for blinding his son, the Cyclops Polyphemus.
