Glover started his career at Leicester City as a youth , but was released before he could make a first-team appearance. He joined Hinckley United in 2007, where he scored four goals in 19 appearances during his first season. Glover’s impressive performances for Hinckley United, earned him a move to Conference North side, Tamworth, in the summer of 2008.
Glover spent three seasons at Tamworth, where he made 95 appearances and scored 22 goals. In August 2011, Glover moved to Conference National side, Fleetwood Town, on the back of two impressive seasons with Tamworth.
Glover made his debut for Fleetwood Town in a 1-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers in August 2011. Glover continued his prolific goal-scoring form for Fleetwood Town, scoring on his home debut against Barrow on 20 August 2011.
In the 2012–13 season, Glover helped Fleetwood Town to achieve promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history. In 2013, Glover was offered a new contract by Fleetwood Town but chose to leave the club and join Conference National side, Stockport County, in the summer of 2013.
Glover had a difficult time at Stockport County, where he scored only six goals in 41 appearances. In August 2014, Glover joined Conference North side, Worcester City, on a one-year deal. Glover made an immediate impact for Worcester City, scoring two goals on his debut in a 2-1 win over Leeds United in the first round of the FA Cup.
Glover finished the 2014–15 season as Worcester City’s top goal-scorer, with 17 goals in all competitions. In July 2015, Glover signed for Kidderminster Harriers on a one-year contract, but he struggled to find his form and was released by the club in November 2015.
In January 2016, Glover joined Alvechurch in the Midland Football League Premier Division, where he scored a remarkable 39 goals in 31 appearances, helping Alvechurch to achieve promotion to the Southern League for the first time in their history.
Glover continued his impressive form in the Southern League, scoring 26 goals in the 2016–17 season and 28 goals in the 2017–18 season. In the 2018–19 season, Glover scored 32 goals in all competitions, helping Alvechurch to reach the final of the Worcestershire Senior Cup, where they were defeated 1-0 by Redditch United.
