From indie music scene to major productions, Cosmo Jarvis has been making waves in the entertainment industry as a multi-talented artist who can act, sing, write, direct, produce, and play a range of instruments. At the age of 32, the British-born artist has already released four albums, nine EPs, dozens of music videos, and several feature films, cementing his position as one of the most prolific and versatile creators of his generation.

Born Harrison Cosmo Krikoryan Jarvis in New Jersey in 1989, Jarvis grew up in Devon, England, surrounded by music and creativity. His father is a musician, while his mother is an artist, and he inherited their passion for expression and experimentation early on. He started playing guitar and writing songs as a teenager, inspired by a variety of genres such as folk, punk, rock, and hip-hop. Jarvis’s first album, Humasyouhitch/Sonofabitch (2008), was self-produced and self-released, but it caught the attention of critics and fans alike with its eclectic mix of styles and themes. His second album, Is the World Strange or am I Strange? In addition to music and acting, Jarvis has also established himself as a filmmaker, writer, and visual artist. He has directed and produced several music videos for his own songs, as well as for other artists such as The Strypes and Alice Phoebe Lou. He has written and directed two feature films, The Naughty Room (2012) and Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot (2018), both of which received critical acclaim for their unconventional storytelling, quirky humor, and poignant themes. He has also exhibited his paintings and drawings in several galleries around the world, showcasing his talent and creativity in yet another medium.

As Jarvis continues to explore new frontiers and push his boundaries as an artist, he remains true to his roots and his vision. His latest album, Telluric (2020), is a collection of introspective and personal songs that reflect his growth and maturity as a songwriter and a human being. From the tender love song “I Hope That I Don’t Fall in Love with You” to the haunting ballad “The Light of My Life”, the album showcases Jarvis’s ability to tell and convey emotions in a subtle and compelling way. As he sings in the opening track, “All of the time I’ve been lost, I’ve been searching for something I’ve never had. But now that I’m found, I just wanna be glad.”

Cosmo Jarvis may still be a new name to some music fans, but he is already a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
