Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. To make the crust, in a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.

3. Add the small pieces of butter to the dry ingredients and use your fingers or a pastry blender to cut the butter into the dry mixture until no large clumps of butter remain.

10. Slowly pour the mixture into the rice, stirring constantly, until the filling thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon (about 5-10 minutes)

11. Remove the filling from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.

12. Pour the filling into the cooled chocolate crust and set it in the fridge to set for at least 2 hours.

13. To make the chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream in a medium saucepan until just simmering.

14. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate and butter.

15. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth.

16. Pour the ganache over the rice cream filling and spread it until it covers the whole top.

17. Set the tart back in the fridge to set for another hour or until completely set.

18. Once chilled and set, remove the tart from the pan and slice it into pieces.
